HOURS OF OPERATION: 8:45 - 4:15
RESOURCES:
We have over 9,000 cataloged materials available for checkout to Northeast Students: Nonfiction, Fiction, Story Collection, Biography, Reference and E-books (plus - Teacher Collection, Novel Sets with Study Guides, and Video/DVD's for Staff checkout). There are 14 computers available for students to use for checking book availablility, doing research, and working on projects.
STUDENT CHECKOUT:
Students are scheduled to come into the Library with their Language Arts class once every 2 weeks. The Library is also open for students before school (8:45 - 9:15) or with a pass from their teacher. Students are allowed to checkout "3" books at a time. Each book may be kept for 2 weeks and will be stamped with a Due Date. When the book is due, it may be "Renewed" for another 2 weeks. Money will be collected for lost/damaged books every quarter in advance of report card distribution.

Destiny provides information on every item available in our library, including the status of "checked in" or "checked out."
* Click on the MY ACCOUNT tab at the top to "Renew" books from home.
* If a book is listed as [electronic resource] in Horizon, you can read the E-book while logged into the system. click on the title, click on the highlighted link. Our Follett Shelf login is ... Username: Student ID # and password: student. For a complete list of our 250 E-books, type ebook in the Horizon search box (some have a read-aloud feature for beginning English learners).
* Click on the CMS tab to access all of the website resources of NC WISE OWL, including additional E-book titles (or click directly on this link to website www.ncwiseowl.org).
